ECDC is firmly committed to provide Land Rig Rental Service with undisputed levels of quality to satisfy its customer’s needs and     expectations.
Such commitment forms the basis of the well-defined strategy for providing new and developed services.
In applying the above strategy ECDC shall at all times be committed to: –
1) Initiation and adoption of a quality system that complies with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015.
2) Prevention of injury and ill health and continual improvement in OH&S Management & performance through commitment to eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks, commitment to consultation and participation of workers, and, where they exist, workers’ representatives and complying with the Egyptian regulations and other requirements to comply with the standard ISO 45001:2018.
3) Environmental protection which may be affected by the company’s activities as perfect compliance of pollution prevention through implementation of integrated management system for environment satisfying the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and the legal requirements and other requirements.
4) Assessment of the company systems for quality, environment and occupational health and safety frequently to assure its effectiveness & continual improvement.
5) Employment of experienced and /or qualified personnel and enhancement of their knowledge, performance, capabilities and craft by continuous training programs.
6) Committing to self-assess, develop and improve continually to ensure the implementation of the planned objectives which will be reviewed periodically by the top management to check the effectiveness.

ECDC HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

1. ECDC management is committed to provide safe, healthy, and drug-free work environments at all of its operating locations. ECDC is dedicated to prevent health and safety exposures which could adversely affect employees, customers or communities ECDC management is committed to ensure that all applicable regulatory health and safety protection requirements are complied with or exceeded and that all adequate resources are provided to ensure the health and safety of our employees. In addition:
Employees are recognized as the foundation of the health and safety program’s success.
As a condition of employment, all employees are required to adhere to established policies and procedures and shall actively participate in all safety training provided.
Employees shall be adequately trained to identify workplace hazards and take appropriate corrective actions to mitigate their consequences.
It should also be the responsibility of each employee to utilize this acquired safety culture to benefit family members and others they may contact.
Managers shall take leadership roles to ensure that all employees are informed of the applicable policies and procedures, and demonstrate dedicated commitment to continual improvement in safety performance.
Superintendents and Supervisors are responsible for maintaining safe working
conditions and practices, and are also responsible for the safety of all employees under their supervision.
ECDC subcontractors are required to maintain compatible standards.
No operation shall be undertaken or continued , when there is an imminent hazard to any employee that cannot be either controlled or contained as low as reasonably practical (ALARP).
Employees shall immediately report any unsafe or hazardous working conditions, or spill of a hazardous substances, and shall have the authority to cease any operation, which poses an immediate serious threat of injury.
2. The co-operation of the ECDC personnel and subcontractors is essential to support and sustain an effective health and safety program. The policy stated herein shall be applied throughout the organization with the ultimate goal of zero incidence.
